Wedding on the Beach

It was a warm, sunny, but windy July 5th 1986 on the river. People who wanted to attended our wedding on the beach, and didn't own a boat, or have a ride, could still get to the beach. Non-boaters just waited at the Princeton Marina's dock, in Princeton, Iowa, for our shuttle boats to pick them up.  We had two small runabouts that were kept busy taking people from the marina up to the wedding on the beach. More people attended the wedding than we thought. As we were watching the boats, and people gather at the beach, at what was supposed to be just a small ceremony for family and a few friends, was getting larger, and larger.

Everyone enjoyed the festivities on the beach.
We loved seeing our family and friends join us for the happiest day of our life.
